Description
This is a great opportunity to own a rare piece of the highly desirable vintage Staples Ladderax. This Ladderax system was designed by Robert Heal and manufactured by Staples of Cricklewood in London during the 1960s. Sold in top end shops like Harrods, Heals, etc., these flexible, adjustable shelving systems soon became a mid-century design classic. Fast forward to today and Ladderax looks great within a modern environment.
This design classic features 3 tall bays and 1 shorter bay of Ladderax with 6 shelves, a three drawer chest, drinks cabinet and glass display cabinet. Stylish and functional, this is the classic Staples Ladderax mid century shelving system. The black metal uprights and easy removable supports, allow the teak shelves and cabinetry to be positioned wherever required. This is a very versatile piece of retro furniture.
A single spar is bent on one of the ladders. This does not affect use and can be easily hidden from view to the side of one of the cabinets (see photo).
Ladder Height 163cm – Length 247cm – Depth 42cm
