6 Mid Century Modern Dining Chairs in Black Faux Leather

Bought 2 beautiful pieces of furniture from Stuart. He was extremely helpful & accommodating with the purchase & delivery was seamless & stress-free.

Superb communication and smooth transaction with my recent Ercol desk purchase. Stuart takes time to list items very accurately which gives real confidence with an on line purchase. No hesitation in recommending Retrovintage, this small business delivers top service. I will be using them again in the future.

Stuart was great from start to finish. We are delighted with the sideboard and the service. Would definitely recommend and purchase again from this company.

I bought a mid century Danish table, a set of 6 chairs & Norwegian sideboard from Stuart. Communication was excellent & Stuart helped with the selection of chairs for the table we had chosen. Stuart arranged delivery via a specialist - Al. The pieces are beautiful & arrived in exceptional condition. Al also provided a great & friendly service. The service & items were beyond our expectations.

If I could give 6-stars, I would! I can't speak highly enough about Stuart and the Retrovintage team. Stuart cared about every possible detail. His communication from start to finish was exceptional. This is a very rare company indeed, combining top quality furniture with amazing customer care. Make sure you come here first!

We had a great experience with Stuart and Dean at Retrovintage. So much incredible furniture to see. Ended up buying a new sideboard which was delivered to us in Glasgow the next week, excellent condition and communication! Would definitely buy from here again.

Great service. Stuart is a lovely bloke to deal with, prompt and efficient delivery of our beautiful table

High quality pieces (one of the best vintage mid-century collections I have seen to date), very tidy premises and excellent service. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Fantastic honest seller. Nothing too much effort. Highly recommend. Hope to do buisness again

I bought a table and chairs. Excellent quality and delivery service. I love them they are a perfect fit!

Absolutely delighted with the G Plan Fresco desk I bought from Retrovintage! And the service received from Stuart and Dean was second-to-none. From first messaging, Stuart was very helpful and promptly arranged a delivery date. His son, Dean, delivered the desk, which had been carefully protected and secured in the van and, with the help of my partner, carried it in to the house. The desk itself is in fabulous condition (which was very clearly shown in the online photographs). I highly recommend Retrovintage and will certainly be keeping an eye on their website for future purchases.

We recently purchased a retro-style bar from RetroVintage, and the entire experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. What really stood out was the quality of service, It’s obvious they take pride not only in their products but also in making sure customers are genuinely happy. If you’re looking for unique, high-quality vintage furniture, RetroVintage is where it’s at.

Bought a beautiful side table from here absolutely great quality as described great communication… thank you!

I have purchased two superb mid-century sideboards from Stuart and will be checking the site regularly for more items as I am completely confident in the quality of the furniture, the excellent communication and the efficient, friendly delivery service. It is important to know that, as a non-expert in this field, I can place my trust in a company which describes the items accurately and includes lots of photos so I know exactly what I’m buying. I recommend Retrovintage wholeheartedly.

searching online for a dining table we found pictures of one on the Retrovintage website that looked just right for us. Over the phone Stuart was unhurried, friendly and knowledgeable. Delivered to us in London by a trusted courier yesterday, our new table is in excellent condition and exactly as described. In fact everything about this transaction has been excellent and we will not hesitate to buy from Retrovintage again if the opportunity arises.

Bought a cracking table from Retrovintage when they had one of their warehouse open days. All of the items on sale were amazing with there being an excellent range of tables in particular. Stuart was friendly but importantly let you look around in peace. We asked if the table could be delivered the next day since we would be home to receive it and Stuart and his son, quickly arranged this for us which was greatly appreciated. The table arrived as scheduled the next day with excellent communication. Overall an outstanding service from Retrovintage and I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Fantastic service. Stuart was brilliant from start to finish. Collected some items from me and communication was great throughout.

Fantastic piece of furniture - great communication and swift delivery from Scotland to London. What more could you want?! Would definitely recommend. Thank you

Retrovintage provided an absolutely fantastic table and chairs—beautiful quality and exactly what we were hoping for. Stuart’s communication was clear and friendly from start to finish, and the service was excellent throughout. Delivery was smooth and hassle-free, arriving exactly as promised. Couldn’t be happier with the whole experience and would highly recommend Retrovintage.

A fantastic selection of mid-century furniture in excellent condition on display at RetroVintage, with pieces that feel thoughtfully curated and well-proportioned. Stuart has been brilliant — it’s been a real pleasure discussing design, materials and provenance with someone who is clearly passionate and has a very sharp eye. Stuart and Dean were extremely helpful throughout, keeping us informed with regular updates and kindly holding our pieces while we waited for completion on our house. We’re delighted with the quality, condition and craftsmanship of the furniture, as well as the care and attention given to restoration and delivery. Will no doubt be back in the future, thanks again!

Great furniture at reasonable prices, Stuart and his son are very helpful and kept in touch all the way to delivery

I can’t recommend this seller highly enough! I bought the item unseen and Stuart was very helpful and responsive, calling me to distant questions I had. He clearly takes great pride in the items he sells and the quality of product. I also thought that the delivery person he arranged was excellent- very good value, great communication and helpful. It made buying from Scotland when I live in the Midlands very pain free.

Fabulous service and I love my dining table. Stuart has made the process easy from start to finish and even sorted a courier (who was also fab) to get the table safely transported to me.

We bought an amazing set of Ladderax from Stuart at Retrovintage. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in how to build it up (as easy as he said). It looks amazing in our 1960's house and we are looking to expand our collection. Delivery was quick too. I have already recommended you to a fellow retro furniture lover. Thanks again for great service

After viewing the Retrovintage IG, I messsaged Stuart to talk through my shelving and storage needs and interest in the Ladderax system. Stuart promptly came back to me on the options available and after further research I emailed him with my preferred style and units list. A couple of days later he contacted me about a new delivery of stock... and the following day a Ladderax two bay, broad shelf and drop door cupboard unit was delivered to me at the time agreed. The condition of the uprights, rods and the teak veneer components is outstanding. In short, top drawer customer service from a business that really knows the period and the brands; goes the extra distance on maintaining the look and finish of their stock; topped off with hassle-free purchase and delivery - definitely recommended. It really doesn't get better and I will definitely be back for more.

We recently purchased a beautiful rosewood sideboard and the pre, during and post sales service was excellent. Stuart is very easy to contact, very prompt and informative. Going to see their collection in Stewarton was really helpful, Stuart again on hand and very happy to answer questions and give advice. We are very happy with our purchase, it was beautifully polished and brought up to a great standard before delivery. Dean delivered carefully and efficiently. We love it!

We visited the Retro Vintage showroom at the weekend and found a treasure trove of vintage furniture all in outstanding condition. Despite several pieces catching our eye we finally picked a sideboard that we loved and Stuart could not have been more helpful. He explained the story of the sideboard and how they’d restored it and it was apparent that he has a great passion for what he does. The sideboard was delivered within 2 days of purchase by his son Dean who provided a great service and assistance getting the piece into our home. Stuart was in touch throughout to make sure the delivery time suited and we were happy which was much appreciated customer service. A truly outstanding experience and I am looking forward to visiting Retro Vintage in the future to see what they have!

I bought a beautiful sideboard from Stuart at retro vintage, and he was very helpful and communicative sending us more videos and measurements that weren’t in the original listing. Once I was happy that I wanted to buy it I arranged to meet him at his warehouse and pick it up, and he was very accommodating. The sideboard is now in my living room and I am absolutely thrilled to bits with it. It’s such a unique piece and in beautiful condition.

Fab service start to finish ended up with a fabulous sideboard

Stuart provided first class customer service from the moment I enquired and even after delivery. He has a lot of knowledge, and a genuine passion for his business which was lovely to be a part of. Lots of pictures and information provided and the product itself is just as advertised - perfect condition. I would absolutely recommend this business if you’re looking to add some mid-century character your home. Good value for money too.

Picked up a superb looking desk. Top service; very responsive and quick/smooth delivery.

It was a pleasure dealing with Stuart and visiting his showroom in Stewarton - nice touch to be collected from the station by him. Stuart has a lovely selection of mid- century furniture and we're delighted with the piece we bought. Always look forward to his posting showing the latest stock.

Stuart’s knowledge, expertise and passion for the beautiful mid century furniture on Retro Vintage shines through - recent first time experience was excellent all round, both he and Al who delivered we’re a pleasure to deal with, I look forward to a repeat !

Beautifully restored mid century table. Friendly and fast service. Thank you

So thrilled with my new (to me) sideboard. I had missed out in a Mcintosh Dunfermline so was pleased to spot one on the Retrovintage Instagram page. Communication with Stuart could not have been any better. He took the time to film a detailed video for me so I could have confidence to purchase from a distance. Stuart then helpfully held onto the sideboard until i was ready to receive it. He arranged the courier (was also a lovely guy). Absolute pleasure to deal with this business. Highly recommended!

Thanks very much for the beautiful sideboard, it's even nicer than in the photos. Thanks also for your help and for arranging the delivery, it all went very smoothly.

Stuart was absolutely brilliant - he was super flexible with us coming to visit the showroom, and was so helpful throughout our visit and helped us select some incredible pieces for our new home. Thank you so much for all your help, we will definitely be back visiting in the future!

I bought a table and chairs from Stuart and then delivered by Al. Everything went like clockwork. The furniture is (no exaggeration) superb. I don’t think I’ll ever buy new again.

Great experience all round. Stuart most helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you

Stuart very helpful, furniture as described and delivery spot on, excellent to deal with very pleased with all aspects of purchase

Stuart provided an excellent service from start to finish. Great communication, quick delivery and I am so happy with my beautiful new (old!) piece of furniture! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Retrovintage 🙂

Couldn't be happier with the Ladderax modular shelving I bought from Stuart, who was a pleasure to deal with. Was always able to quickly and clearly answer my questions and also accomodate a narrow delivery window I needed at short notice. Then Al was very helpful and pleasant during the delivery itself. Furntiture and service both excellent - highly reccomended.

Purchased an extendable mid-century dining table which was in beautiful condition - clear and friendly communication from Stuart and convenient courier service - highly recommend

Excellent service and gorgeous furniture

Good stock selection, honest presentation, excellent video call by Stuart, fair price, delivered next day from Glasgow to London (fortuitous chance with the timing of purchase and already scheduled delivery, but appreciated that Stuart made that happen). We love the McIntosh sideboard and it looks beautiful in our home. Highly recommend.

All kinds of lovely things and great service including next-week delivery to london by specialist courier

Great shop. Very knowledgeable and fantastic service. Stuart was very helpful. Furniture is top quality.

All was just perfect! I saw online a mid-century table and also four chairs and called Stuart. He was super kind and helpful, a pleasure talking to him, answered all my questions, and I just got them. They're beautiful, and I'm over the moon with my new set. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I found a beautiful Robin Day table on Retrovintage online and was initially wary about ordering furniture without being able to view it in person. I contacted Stuart and he was so helpful, he sent voice notes to answer all my questions and a more detailed video too so I could see the condition of the table. After placing my order, the courier worked around my availability and it arrived in perfect condition with me in London not long after. When the table was damaged by a contractor in my flat not long after, Stuart was kind enough to offer me advice on how to best restore it. I can’t recommend them enough! It’s rare to get customer service this good nowadays but always appreciated.

Great selection of pieces, Stuart was very accommodating and knowledgeable about his products. Delighted with our dining set and coffee table! Many thanks.

Lovely experience from start to finish. Stuart was excellent in communication, photos and video were true to life and the whole experience couldn't have been easier. Would highly recommend.

Great service and a fabulous piece of furniture

Stuart is great to deal with, always obliging and willing to go the extra mile to ensure his customer has all the information both visual and written to ensure they are making the right purchase for their needs. We are now the happy owners of a sideboard and artist cabinet and would not hesitate to buy from Stuart and recommend retrovintageonline to our friends.

I am so delighted with my vintage desk. The description and photos were in depth and accurate and Stuart was very helpful keeping me up to date at all times. His nominated courier to get from Glasgow 300+miles south was nothing short of a legend. I couldn’t have been happier with the whole purchase and would recommend Retrovintage Stuart whole heartedly. Thank you 🙏

I had a great experience with RetroVintage. Stuart was so helpful and communicative. Delivery was easy and reasonably priced for a large piece of furniture.
