    Super stylish vintage dining chairs with black vinyl seat pads and chair backs, designed by Peter Hayward for British maker Vanson. Take a good look at the photographs to witness the beautiful shaping of these chairs. The subtle curves and the contrast between the teak and black vinyl mark out these mid century dining chairs as superior seating.

    Peter Hayward established his reputation as a furniture designer in the 1950s -70s. With an impressive client list that included G-Plan, Parker Knoll, Greaves & Thomas, Uniflex, Race Furniture and not forgetting Heals and Son in London. Several of his designs were selected for the Design Council and Design Index and because this acclaim represented British design in the UK and abroad until his death in 2005.

    The set, consisting of one carver style armchair and five standard chairs, is in very nice original condition. Strong, structurally sound and ready for use. Largely unnoticeable, especially when around a table, but two of the chairs have a single button missing towards the rear of their seat pads (see photo).

    We can easily help arrange delivery via trusted furniture couriers who operate throughout the UK. The delivery part is simple. We send furniture to London and all parts of the UK every week of the year. We’re also happy to accommodate you if you’d prefer to collect in person. Prices do not include delivery.
