This arc lamp, possibly Harvey Guzzini, is a fabulous floor lamp in glowing chrome with a plastic globe. The lamp casts a glow of softly diffused light. This one has a touch of pearly lustre in the plastic shade. The impressive lamp gives a very pleasant warm light.
Iguzzini was an Italian lighting company founded in 1959 as Harvey Creazioni by the sons of Mariano Guzzini. The company started to produce enameled copper artistic objects. The name was inspired by Harvey the giant rabbit, imaginary friend of James Stewart in the famous 1950s film. The company soon specialized in plastic products, producing internationally awarded designs by legendary designers like Gio Ponti, Bruno Gecchelin, Michel de Lucchi, Ron Arad, Rodolfo Bonetto, Gae Aulenti, Piero Castiglioni and Jean-Michel Wilmotte.
