Description
This stunning teak desk is an elegant offering, possibly designed by Johannes Sorth for one of Denmark’s finest furniture makers, Bornholm Mobelfabrik. A stylish secretaire, this desk was designed in the 1960s and crafted from fine cuts of teak with stunning grain detailing and dovetail carpentry throughout. With its slide-out desktop, perfect for a laptop, this bureau is a premium piece with only the finest materials used in its production. Design highlights include the graduated lower drawers, each drawer being deeper than the one above. The gentle curves to both the front edge of the desktop and the top edge of the rear panel are little touches that subtly add interest to this piece. Above the slide-out desktop, the shelves, small drawers and sliding door are other eye-catching and practical features. An incredibly stylish and practical item with plenty of storage space which would complement any design-led interior.
