This super sideboard designed by Malcolm Walker for Dalescraft has such elegant styling. Dalescraft were a fairly small maker, working from Pudsey in Leeds, that were big on quality. This piece has an obvious Scandinavian design influence, typical of the mid-century period. The frame that the cabinet sits on being the clearest example of this inspiration. Design highlights include the removeable internal tray-drawers, one with felt lined cutlery divider in place.
In super original condition with, as you'd expect, some small signs of age and use.
