  • Description

This super compact little cabinet would, at one time, have contained a sewing machine that flipped up out of the cabinet and sat on top of it. It came to us without the machine and we've adapted it for use as a side cabinet. You'll see from the photos that the cupboard floor flips up. This allowed the operator to tuck their legs underneath when using the sewing machine. This feature means you might employ the cabinet as a compact little laptop desk when room space is at a premium. The handles and the circular, tapering legs show a real Danish influence, beyond what you'd expect in a sewing cabinet.

This piece is strong, stable and in very nice condition. There are a few small holes in the backboard of the cabinet where screws have been removed. These can only be seen when the cupboard door is open. Key for top drawer not present.
