At one time, this unit would have formed part of a taller wall unit. The sideboard has been sanded and refinished but some traces of its former life remain visible to the top piece when inspected(see photos). These will likely be obscured by whichever item(s) you sit on top of the cabinet. The right hand door pull has lost a little piece of its wooden handle but still works as it should.
