This is a set of 6 very desirable mid century dining chairs with charcoal fabric seat pads and chair backs, manufactured in Denmark in the 1960s by Dyrlund. These beautiful chairs are truly elegant in their design.
Founded in 1960 and still making furniture today, Dyrlund pride themselves on delivering only the finest quality furniture for high end homes and offices. To this day, they place great emphasis on skilled craftsmanship, using traditional Danish cabinet-making methods.
These are a lovely set of chairs and are structurally sound. As you’d expect, there are signs of age and use to the fabric. Chairs could be shampooed, recovered or used just as they are – your choice! One of the chairs has a chip to the veneer at the bottom of the rear leg (see photo).
