Description
This is a set of 6 very desirable mid century dining chairs with fabric seat pads, designed in Denmark by Erling Torvits and manufactured by Soro. These gorgeous chairs are truly elegant in their design, with fantastic curves throughout. The set comprises 4 standard chairs and two carver style armchairs.
Born in Denmark in 1925, Erling Torvits graduated as a cabinetmaker 1944. After working in Copenhagen at AJ Iversen, he moved to Herning Jutland where he set up a small design studio. From here, he mostly worked with many smaller furniture manufactures, focusing on cabinets and chairs.
Super stylish chairs that are solid and structurally sound. In nice used condition with the signs of age and use that you'd expect. The fabric shows its age in places so the chairs can be used as they stand or you may choose to have them recovered.
W50cm x D49cm x H79cm - Seat Height : 45cm (Armchairs are slightly wider)
