Absolutely delighted with the G Plan Fresco desk I bought from Retrovintage! And the service received from Stuart and Dean was second-to-none. His son, Dean, delivered the desk, which had been carefully protected and secured in the van and, with the help of my partner, carried it in to the house. The desk itself is in fabulous condition (which was very clearly shown in the online photographs). searching online for a dining table we found pictures of one on the Retrovintage website that looked just right for us. Over the phone Stuart was unhurried, friendly and knowledgeable. Delivered to us in London by a trusted courier yesterday, our new table is in excellent condition and exactly as described. Bought a cracking table from Retrovintage when they had one of their warehouse open days. All of the items on sale were amazing with there being an excellent range of tables in particular. Stuart was friendly but importantly let you look around in peace. We asked if the table could be delivered the next day since we would be home to receive it and Stuart and his son, quickly arranged this for us which was greatly appreciated. After viewing the Retrovintage IG, I messsaged Stuart to talk through my shelving and storage needs and interest in the Ladderax system. Stuart promptly came back to me on the options available and after further research I emailed him with my preferred style and units list. A couple of days later he contacted me about a new delivery of stock... and the following day a Ladderax two bay, broad shelf and drop door cupboard unit was delivered to me at the time agreed. The condition of the uprights, rods and the teak veneer components is outstanding. In short, top drawer customer service from a business that really knows the period and the brands; goes the extra distance on maintaining the look and finish of their stock; topped off with hassle-free purchase and delivery - definitely recommended. It really doesn't get better and I will definitely be back for more.

We recently purchased a beautiful rosewood sideboard and the pre, during and post sales service was excellent. Stuart is very easy to contact, very prompt and informative. Going to see their collection in Stewarton was really helpful, Stuart again on hand and very happy to answer questions and give advice. We visited the Retro Vintage showroom at the weekend and found a treasure trove of vintage furniture all in outstanding condition. Despite several pieces catching our eye we finally picked a sideboard that we loved and Stuart could not have been more helpful. He explained the story of the sideboard and how they’d restored it and it was apparent that he has a great passion for what he does. The sideboard was delivered within 2 days of purchase by his son Dean who provided a great service and assistance getting the piece into our home. I bought a beautiful sideboard from Stuart at retro vintage, and he was very helpful and communicative sending us more videos and measurements that weren’t in the original listing. Once I was happy that I wanted to buy it I arranged to meet him at his warehouse and pick it up, and he was very accommodating. The sideboard is now in my living room and I am absolutely thrilled to bits with it. It’s such a unique piece and in beautiful condition.

I found a beautiful Robin Day table on Retrovintage online and was initially wary about ordering furniture without being able to view it in person. I contacted Stuart and he was so helpful, he sent voice notes to answer all my questions and a more detailed video too so I could see the condition of the table. After placing my order, the courier worked around my availability and it arrived in perfect condition with me in London not long after. When the table was damaged by a contractor in my flat not long after, Stuart was kind enough to offer me advice on how to best restore it. I can’t recommend them enough! It’s rare to get customer service this good nowadays but always appreciated.
