    This is a beautiful teak dining table, designed and manufactured in Denmark by Skovby. This super piece of vintage furniture features two additional leaves that store easily under the table top. The top itself has a stunning wood grain above a beautiful base. The table can be extended in two stages, allowing 3 different lengths to be set and extending the table is so smooth and easy. The gently curved sides of the table top really add to its beauty and the banding around the table top is another super design feature. The rich teak grain patterns are outstanding.  A genuinely rare piece of high quality Scandinavian vintage furniture.

    Skovby was founded in 1933 by cabinetmaker Thorvald Rasmussen. His son Villy Rasmussen and grandsons Preben and Jørgen Rasmussen have carried on ever since. Early special assignments for the small one-man workshop quickly advanced to complete dining room suites. Skovby are still producing furniture today, with a continuing focus on craftsmanship and natural materials.

    Structurally sound and in very nice original condition with some differences in shading, from natural light. Priced to reflect this.

    We can easily help arrange delivery via trusted furniture couriers who operate throughout the UK. The delivery part is simple. We send furniture to London and all parts of the UK every week of the year. We’re also happy to accommodate you if you’d prefer to collect in person. Prices do not include delivery.
