Description
This is a beautiful Scandinavian dining table, designed by Rolf Rastad and Adolf Relling and manufactured in Norway in the 1960s by the firm Gustav Bahus. This very stylish table features two extra leaves, stored underneath the table top, that can be pulled out and used independently or together when needed. The table can be extended in two stages, allowing 3 different lengths to be set. One of the best features of this piece is that it begins as a compact, space-saving table but extends to a substantial length when both the additional leaves are inserted. The top has a beautiful wood grain above the round, slightly tapered legs. The gentle curve to he ends of the table top combine with the contrasting solid teak edging to make this a table that is very stylish to look at while maintaining the simplicity of design that is synonymous with the Scandinavian Modern design movement.
