This suite has an amazing, stylish retro look to it and is likely to have been manufactured in the 1960s. The maker remains a mystery but the suite is similar in style to those produced by such as Cintique, Parker Knoll, Scandart, etc and exudes Scandinavian mid century style. The large sofa converts easily to a daybed for when guests arrive and extra sleeping space is required.
The subtle shaping to the lines of the arms and legs make this a really attractive suite. The wood on the arms has a gorgeous grain, which appears to be elm. One nice little detail appears on the arms where the makers (in a similar fashion to Ercol) have allowed the construction method to remain visible (see photo).
The sofa bed is 199cm wide (at its widest point) and the chairs are 65cm wide.
