This is a vintage Scandart rocking chair. Perfect for any living space, this very elegant rocking chair has a black vinyl seat pad and is extremely comfortable. The chair's rockers create a perfectly balanced, smooth movement, making this classic 'rocker' a perfect example of Scandart's timeless style.
Scandart produced contemporary furniture in High Wycombe in the early to mid 1960s . High Wycombe was a major centre for chair making and then cabinet making for many many years and was home to G Plan, Ercol and other famous names of the mid century period. Best known for their chairs and sofas, Scandart also produced cabinetry but in smaller numbers.
