This super piece of vintage furniture is a tilt and swivel chair, Manufactured by Roneo Vickers. Would make a super desk chair.
Roneo Vickers were a maker of office equipment. The Neostyle Manufacturing Co., who became Roneo Ltd, opened its works in 1908 and, by 1924, British Neopost Ltd was making a single value postal franking machine. They became Roneo Neopost Ltd in 1931 and carried on with that business but later manufactured armaments during the Second World War. In 1966 Roneo was acquired by Vickers Ltd and, in 1980, Vickers sold the business to Alcatel. By that time, their main product was duplicators.
