This vintage sideboard by British maker Austinsuite has an eye-catching Scandinavian look to it. This classic piece of mid century furniture features extensive storage. A bank of three drawers (the top drawer with cutlery dividers) sits to the right of two cabinet spaces. The beautifully curved drawer and door handles a are stand-out feature of this mid century sideboard.
Austinsuite of London were at the forefront of English mid century design creating stunning designs to rival G Plan and Ercol using beautiful and exotic woods to create highly practical and appealing pieces. The company was founded in London by four Austin brothers.
A super attractive sideboard with, as you’d expect, some signs of age and use. The felt in the top drawer was marked so we’ve dropped in a piece of vinyl that sits under the cutlery dividers.
