Description
These are a pair of stunning Danish cabinets in teak with tambour doors. The unit in the left of the photographs has a drinks cabinet hidden behind its tambour doors with a mirror to the rear and a clever section cut out from its glass shelf to allow for the storage of taller bottles. The big attraction of these shelving units though are those three sets of oh-so-cleverly designed tambour doors. These doors are wonderful to look at and to work with. Their tiny, almost imperceptible, sections fold away to allow full access to the cabinets behind but without the need to swing large doors out the way and into your room space.
Founded in 1960 and still making furniture today, Dyrlund pride themselves on delivering only the finest quality furniture for high end homes and offices. To this day, they place great emphasis on skilled craftsmanship, using traditional Danish cabinet-making methods.
Each cabinet splits into two sections for transporting. There are also 2x glass doors for the right hand unit. Per the photos, these can be left in place or removed by easily lifting them out. We think we prefer the look of this unit without glass but both options are available. At some point, the units have had hidden lighting behind the shelves. The lights are not in use at present.
Each unit is W120 x D52 x H184cm
