Description
This super set of vintage furniture includes 2 swivel egg chairs on star bases and 2 footstools. A super set to enhance your lounge, office or den.
Vono was formed in Tipton, Staffordshire in 1896 and was a manufacturer of furniture and mattresses. J Walter Thompson of London then acquired Vono in 1946.
Structurally sound and the fabric is in super condition. The set must have been recovered in the recent past. One of the chairs swivels freely and the other is stiff. All 10 of the black 'feet' are present across the 2 armchairs but are no longer present on the star base footstool.
The fabric might best be described as a kind of warm golden straw colour. Probably a little more golden and a little less yellow than they appear in the photographs. Please get in touch if you'd like a video tour of these.
