Description
This mid century sideboard was designed by Richard Hornby and manufactured by Fyne Ladye during the 1960s. It’s a finely crafted, high quality credenza made from solid afrormosia, which makes it unusually heavy. The sideboard features four drawers (top drawer with cutlery dividers) as well as two doors opening to reveal adjustable shelves with attractive tapered edges. This is a rare high end sideboard and has some lovely design features such as the minimalist handles to its cupboard doors and the elegant little retaining edge that runs around three sides of its top. Another stylish addition is the removable drinks tray that is hidden behind the right hand cupboard door and which slides out effortlessly for use during cocktail evenings.
