Description
This is a very special piece of furniture designed by Gordon Russell himself in the 1930s. Finished in Japanese oak with walnut handles, this elegant, slender little chest of drawers is a truly beautiful item. This piece is an example of Cotswold School’ furniture from Gordon Russell’s ‘Stow’ range. With four little drawers, topped with a pivoting mirror, this is an extremely rare and desirable piece of furniture.
The name Gordon Russell is pretty legendary amongst 20th century furniture enthusiasts. The firm was at the forefront of UK furniture design during this period and became particularly well known for providing very high end furniture for the boardrooms and executive offices of major companies.
