This vintage sideboard by British maker Austinsuite has an eye-catching Scandinavian look to it. This classic piece of mid century furniture features extensive storage. A bank of three drawers (the top drawer felt lined and with cutlery dividers) sits between two cabinet spaces. The beautiful handles and the concave curve to its top piece are stand-out features of this mid century sideboard.
Austinsuite of London were at the forefront of English mid century design creating stunning designs to rival G Plan and Ercol using beautiful and exotic woods to create highly practical and appealing pieces. The company was founded in London by four Austin brothers.
A super attractive sideboard, the finish on the top is no longer perfect. One of the photographs is an attempt to capture this. Not easy to photograph. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
